Universal Stone – Universal Stein – Works Better Than “Magic Eraser”

I have just discovered the amazing Universal Stone product.  It has been around since 1992, but just recently available in the United States.  Imported from Germany.  Scroll to the bottom of this post for my personal Before & After pictures.

Where does Universal Stein work?  It works on many surfaces.  It will remove hard water, lime and deposit build ups.  It will remove permanent marker, grease and other stains.

Safe for your silver plate or heirloom silver; you polish less often because the Universal Stone retards tarnish.

I purchased the Universal Stone and am so pleased with the results. I am an alternative health care practitioner. I use an EAU device that consists of testings and treating with brass plates and hand probes. It was difficult to clean them after each patient and I did not want to use the commercial products. I was at your booth this past weekend at the Home and Garden Show. Your daughter was doing a demonstration about the product. I had asked her if she had ever tried it on items that were damaged by fire. I had explained that my husband had thrown one of our forks into the fire (by error of course). As you can imagine the temperature of the fire. I had to wait until the next morning to retrieve the fork, and figured it was ruined. Stainless Steel Appliances – Secrets To A Shiny, Smear-free Finish

Do you have stainless steel appliances?
Are they “perfectly clean”?

If you are a bit dis-enchanted with how your stainless steel looks, even after you have tried the e-cloth® products on them, I might be able to help.

I just got off the phone with the ceo of e-cloth/tad-green here in the US. He was able to answer some questions we have received from a couple of our customers that were not able to get the “smears” off their stainless steel fridge and dishwasher.

In the last 5+ years that e-cloth® has been available in America, e-cloth® has always been able to clean any stainless steel appliance, even the most stubborn. In two cases, they found that there was a defect in the stainless steel and the appliance company sent them a new front.  And in one other case, they didn’t remove the plastic film that came with the new fridge and the chemicals used to clean the fridge “melted” the film permanently into the surface.

How To Clean A VERY Stubborn, “Smeary” Appliance:

You stainless steel is “smeary” because of one of three reasons.

Reason One:
Tons of previous chemical has built up and had kinda created a “shell” on the surface.  In extreme cases, this build will actually start to turn yellowish.

Reason Two: An oil based polish has been used and created a stubborn oily residue that needs to be removed.

Reason Three: There is a protective coating that needs to be removed (check to see if there is a film that needs to be peeled off)

*In either case, you need to use an E-cloth General Purpose cloth (not the stainless steel pack cloth – this is better for maintenance). -Wet with the general purpose e-cloth with water
-Wring out excess water
-Work in four inch circles, with 2 or 3 fingers and the e-cloth.
-Follow up behind with a *dry* e-cloth (use a polish e-cloth if you have one or a new general purpose cloth).
You begin to notice the shiny stainless steel appear!

Tips:
-It may take quite a bit of “elbow grease”.
-You don’t have to conquer the whole appliance at once.
-Once you get it all clean, it will be SIMPLE to maintain. Just use a damp polish cloth and quickly wipe as needed.
